Nope, you're not seeing things wrongly, that's my TOPIK results released this afternoon.
I scored full marks for listening and 92/100 for reading. That adds up to 192/200. And again, nope, I wasn't expecting such high marks because all my past practice papers did not yield me with marks above 180/200. So how did I do it? The answer is I don't know too. It could be because my form was great that morning or the paper was actually easier than I expected or just purely because I'm lucky.
But, don't trust the proficiency test 100%. The reason I'm saying that is because as long as you practice enough papers and do your test properly, there seems to be no reason why you'll not score high marks. It's all about the practice and noticing the patterns. Once you've mastered that, you'll realise that it is actually easier than it seems. But then again, a proficiency transcript is still looked upon when finding a job or applying for education in Korea!
For those out there prepping for any test or exam during this dull period, hang in there and I believe that you will achieve what you want! :D
